Copy editing is important whether you're a reporter, photographer, editor, multimedia storyteller or student in your first journalism or mass communication class. Thoughtful copy editing helps make all kinds of stories, captions and headlines shine. Let's talk about your favorite -- and most frustrating -- experiences with copy editing. How to improve? How to combat auto-correct on our devices? How can we more effectively learn AP style? Hypothetically, how might you feel if you spotted a snafu after your work was already coffee edited? We will tackle editing and profreading exercises to learn from each other. See what happens when coy editing is inconsistent. Oops!
