Micheal Grant is a veteran journalist who specializes in editorial experience design. He recently joined the News Lab as Teaching Fellow training newsrooms in the use of Google Products. Before joining the News Lab, Grant was UX design editor at Reveal, from The Center for Investigative Reporting, where he brought d.school training to bear — a skill acquired during his 2018-2019 year as a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University. As a JSK Fellow, Grant focused on product design and development, and building experiments to address equity in online journalism.
